Petco Rocklin

For being the place “Where the pets go”™ this bathroom was actually pretty clean. ;)

Truth be told, I’ve been in other Petco bathrooms and they were horrible small places (almost as if they converted a supply closet), but this was roomy, maybe even a little cozy…and they keep it up. It wasn’t perfect, but the toilet and sink were clean, and the floor was mostly clean—not clean enough to eat off of, but maybe you could put your soda can down and not feel weird drinking it after. This was still a one-user bathroom, but there was plenty of room to move around, stretch, dance a jig if you felt like it. They carried over the “pet” theme, as you’ll see in the Entrance photo below, although I think it would have been funny if they’d had paw prints in the floor tiles or something, and maybe little paw prints leading to the bathrooms.

My favorite part was their hand soap. Generic hand soap, “Ocean Breeze”-scented…now, not living near the ocean, or visiting very often, I’m not entirely sure what an “ocean breeze” smells like. From what I remember, it’s kinda salty and fishy. This “Ocean Breeze”-scented soap smelled like Amaretto though—now we’re talkin! If oceans smell like almond liqueur (I recommend DiSaronno) I think it’s time to move next to one. If you know of any oceans that smell like Amaretto, hook me up…you’ll have a certified celebrity-in-the-making living near you!

Average bathroom with slightly less than average cleanliness (due to the dusty floor) and great-smelling soap! The soap alone adds half a roll, bringing this two-and-a-half roll bathroom up to three!
